herTRAINER: From Sidelines to Something Bigger
For the past five years, I have coached my daughter’s basketball teams.
That has meant weeknights in school gyms, early mornings at practices, and weekends at tournaments. It has also meant constant conversations with athletes and parents about the same two things: how to fuel properly and how to train without burning out.
What stood out was not a lack of effort. These girls work hard.
What was missing was structure.
Nutrition advice was scattered, inconsistent, or designed for adult men. Training plans were either too generic or too intense for the realities of school, club, and tournament schedules. Everyone was trying to do the right things, but they were guessing.
There was no single system built specifically for young female athletes.
So we decided to build one.
The Problem We Kept Seeing
The questions were always practical.
What should I eat before a late game?
What do I eat on tournament weekends?
How do I train during the season without wearing down?
How do I stay consistent when life and school get busy?
These are not advanced performance questions. They are foundational. And yet there was no clear, age-appropriate, athlete-tested system designed to answer them in one place.
herTRAINER exists to solve that exact problem.
A Challenge-Based Starting Point
herTRAINER started as a family project.
It began with organizing the essentials my daughter and her teammates needed each week. Simple fueling guidance. Clear training structure. Short challenges that felt doable, not overwhelming.
That quickly turned into challenge outlines, video scripts, printable checklists, and progress trackers. The more we used it, the more obvious it became. If this worked for one team, it could work for thousands.
From day one, the platform has been built around challenges, not endless content. Clear start points. Clear daily actions. Clear progress.
No guessing. No scrolling fatigue.
The Two Pillars That Matter Most
herTRAINER is intentionally focused. Everything in the app supports one of two pillars.
Fuel
Fuel is the foundation.
herTRAINER provides practical nutrition built for real life. Simple meals, snacks, grocery guidance, and fueling strategies that work on school days, practice days, and tournament weekends.
This is not about perfection. It is about consistency and understanding how food supports performance, recovery, and growth.
Fuel challenges help athletes build habits they can actually maintain.

Movement
Movement is about training with purpose.
herTRAINER delivers workouts and movement challenges that fit real schedules. In season. Off season. At home. In the gym. Built to develop strength, athleticism, and confidence without overtraining.
Movement challenges are structured, progressive, and designed to meet athletes where they are.

AI Coaching, Not Guesswork
At the center of herTRAINER is AI coaching.
Athletes are not left alone to interpret plans or figure out what to do next. The AI coach explains the challenge, clarifies the goal of each day, and provides guidance as athletes move through Fuel and Movement programs.
This creates consistency, accountability, and clarity without requiring constant supervision from parents or coaches.

It is guidance on demand, built into the experience.
Why herTRAINER Works
Progress does not come from motivation alone.
It comes from systems.
When athletes follow clear fueling challenges and structured movement plans, results compound. Energy improves. Confidence grows. Consistency replaces burnout.
herTRAINER is not about doing more. It is about doing the right things, repeatedly, in a way that fits real life.
